Cash for College

The Cash for College program is designed to increase college access and success, seeks to inform, assist and reward program participants. In 2015, IEEP was designated by the California Student Aid Commission as the Inland Empire Regional Coordinating Organization (RCO) to provide Financial Aid Completion Workshops assistance to students and their families. During the workshops participants receive individualized assistance to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the California Dream Act application, and other financial aid forms.

More than 106 financial aid workshops were held throughout the Inland Empire region in 2016-17, which resulted in more than 2,300 students completing and submitting their financial aid applications.  IEEP with the support from the Cardenas Foundation and other donors also awarded approximately $23,000.00 in scholarships to students that participated in Cash for College workshops.
